From the moment my father congratulated me on a photo taken during a year 10 school camp to the Flinders, I figured photography was something I would like to pursue. At that point I had no idea how involved I would get, but that one compliment was enough to underpin my enthusiasm for what has been a hobby, a second job and now could be referred to as an obsession. Over the years I have taken photos of everything that did and didn’t move, for fun, for family, friends, work, you name it. After 40 years I have finally acquired both the skills and the equipment where I feel confident to share my passion with others, by offering some of my work to people beyond my family and closest friends. A large part of the decision to release my work publicly has once again come about from the encouragement of others, for which I am very grateful.
